Although his legal team denies that the accused had any victims’ DNA in either his home or car, prosecutors state the murders were sufficiently grievous to warrant the harshest penalty and demonstrate a total disregard for human life. The court has fixed Kohberger’s trial to start on 2 October and last for approximately six weeks.
