The Veil Nebula is a super-nova remnant created between 10,000 and 20,000 years ago when a start approx 20 times the mass of our Sun exploded. The remnants of this massive explosion cover an area of the sky roughly 3 degrees in diameter. Far too large for me to capture in a single frame with my equipment. In part 1 of this two-part series, I will show you how I used NINA to plan and capture 5 of 6 panels that will make up the final mosaic, along with how I combined all of this data in Astropixel Processor.
