@constancevandiver8649last year I can't believe that this group has never won any musical awards. Damn shame because they sell out any venue in Detroit and we are a tough place on artists. 27

Sept 1989, I'm just starting the fourth grade when Maze/ Frankie Beverly "Can't Get Over You" was debuted from their Silky Soul album on Warner Bros after Capitol
That slow jam will never go away, cause it has been my favorites out of the FB/M music discography that you can't get over.

@gregoryderouen86789 years ago I have always loved this song, but it took me breaking up with my current girlfriend that I realized why so many failed relationships. It has been more than 10 years now that I ended the best relationship I ever had for foolish reasons. She was my best friend, my lover, my supporter, I really dont know what I was thinking when I pushed a woman away that truly loved me. Just before I broke up with the current one I heard this song on the radio and broke down in tears because at that time I understood what the song really means. I am still in love with her and cant get over her! It did not take long after I pushed her away that another man saw the great woman she is, now she is married with a family and I am still devastated that I let her go. Maybe this could be a lesson to someone else out there, if you have a woman that supports you no matter what maybe she is the one that was ment for you. DONT LET HER GO. ... 370
