Blind Channel (Finland) Eurovision 2021 interview - Global Metal Apocalypse

Interview with vocalists Joel Hokka and Niko Moilanen from 'Violent Pop' - Post-Hardcore / Alt Metal band Blind Channel. Blind Channel will be representing Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest with their song 'Dark Side' on the Saturday 22nd May in Rotterdam, having booked a place following their semi-final performance on the 20th May 2021. Blind Channel are no strangers to big occasions having performed at the Finnish heats of the Wacken Metal Battle contest, ultimately winning and then going on to play at Wacken Open Air in Germany, metal's biggest festival worldwide with 80,000 fans attending. To date they have released 3 albums - 'Revolutions' in 2016, 'Blood Brothers' in 2018 and 'Violent Pop' in 2020. 20 singles - with the latest two being a cover of 'Left Outside Alone'; originally performed by American pop singer Anastacia and of course their Eurovision entry 'Dark Side'.
