Anglo Nepal war Part 2 — The Battles

Anglo_ Nepal war is one of the most unforgettable event in Nepalese History. It paused the expansion of Nepal and Nepal lost one third of its land. Though Nepal maintained itself to be independent, it was very costly for Nepal. Anglo Nepal consists of series of battles that were held between 1814 and 1816.Though British East India company got victory in this war, it was very costly for them. More than twice the Nepali soldiers were killed from British side. In this video, we primarily focus on the background, causes and preparation of both Nepal and British side for the war.
